Platform Updates
Clickable Dashboard Widgets
You can now drill down to exception reports straight from the widgets on the dashboard!
The following widgets are now clickable and will lead to the exception report: Unknown Customer Data, Rates Missing, Unmatched Service Items, and Customers with no Ratecard/Pricebook.
QuickBooks Online Integration
Default “Export Taxes As” [US Resellers Only]
To make exporting to QuickBooks Online even easier, you can now set a default value for how taxes should be exported.
Any customers imported from QuickBooks Online will automatically default to this setting.
ConnectWise Integration
Defaults for ConnectWise Invoice Number Sync
To make syncing ConnectWise Invoice Numbers even easier, Datagate will now remember the Agreement you last exported to and the most recent invoice for that Agreement.
Addition Start and End Dates for Agreements Export
When exporting to ConnectWise Agreements, you can now set a default for what the start and end dates should be for Additions created in ConnectWise.
You can select Invoice Date, Billing Period Dates, Billing Period Dates + 1 period, or Billing Period Dates + 2 periods.
Advanced Product Synchronization
You will now see an option to specify advanced product synchronization filters for ConnectWise products.
This gives you greater control to set up custom synchronization logic using Product Types, Classes, Categories, and Subcategories.
Taxes
Detailed Tax Breakdown per Invoice [US Resellers Only]
When viewing invoices in detail, along with the overall tax amounts for each product you can now also get a full breakdown of the exact taxes calculated including the tax name, tax rate, and tax amount.
This also applies to taxes for product kits, usage, and surcharges.
Customers without a Zip Code [US Resellers Only]
To avoid incomplete US tax calculation, invoice generation will not work for customers that do not have a valid Zip Code configured.
