Datto Autotask PSA Integration - Phase 2
Phase 2 of the Datagate + Autotask integration brings even more functionality to eliminate re-keying and simplify your monthly billing process.
Customer Sites Synchronization
Along with synchronizing basic account details, active Autotask company locations will now also be synchronized to Datagate Customer Sites. This synchronization will occur automatically if an Autotask integration is configured.
In the integration settings, you can specify if sites should be updated only on the first customer synchronization or any time a change is made in Autotask.
Only customers that are tagged as “Datagate” in Autotask and their company locations will be synchronized in this process.
Product and Product Categories Synchronization
You can now also automatically synchronize Autotask products and product categories to Datagate.
If enabled, Datagate will synchronize all products in the Autotask catalogue to create new products in Datagate or to update existing ones.
Product categories can also be automatically obtained from Autotask and created within Datagate. This can be enabled from the Autotask integration settings page.
Contract Synchronization
Autotask Contracts can now be automatically synchronized to Datagate agreements with no re-keying required.
This can be enabled from the Autotask integration settings page. You can specify if all contracts should be synchronized, or only those of a specific type (eg recurring service).
Please contact your Datagate implementation consultant if you'd like to use this feature.
Invoice Number Synchronization
In the previous release notes email, we described Datagate’s new ability to export telecom invoices to Autotask as contract charges.
After generating invoices in Autotask from these charges, you now have the ability to synchronize the original Datagate invoice numbers to the newly created invoices in your PSA.
This option can be found in the invoice export dropdown menu and will allow you to map each exported Datagate invoice with a corresponding invoice in Autotask.
QuickBooks Online Integration
Exporting Product Kits to QuickBooks
Now, when exporting Datagate Product Kit transactions to your QuickBooks Online accounting system during invoice export, you can choose to break down the kit into individual child products.
This will allow you to match individual products and create a QuickBooks invoice line for each product in the kit.
You can enable this functionality from the QuickBooks Online integration settings page.
Quoter Integration
In Advance Settings for One-off Products
You’ll notice a new “Use In Advance Settings for One-off Products” option in the Quoter integration settings. If enabled, this will allow you to set the billing period for one-off products using the In Advance settings of the matching Product Template in Datagate.
If required, you can use this functionality to ensure one-off products from Quoter are added to the initial Datagate invoice.
Quoting Product Kits from Quoter
When accepting quotes that include Product Kits in Datagate, if the price of the Kit in the quote is different from the corresponding Product Kit Template in Datagate, you will see a new alert message.
