“Release Notes” is our update that highlights recent product improvements we’ve made so you can easily stay up to date on what’s new.
💡What's New?
CSI Tax Engine [US Resellers ONLY]
[IMPORTANT!] CSI Detailed Report
When generating the CSI Detailed Tax Report, you now filter the date range by the Invoice Date rather than Period.
This change is extremely important to note if you use this report to determine taxes that need to be paid.

Platform Updates
Default Pro Rata Setting
You can now configure if the “Allow ProRata” option for products is enabled by default in the Portal Settings.
This will apply to any newly created Product Templates, Customer Products and Price Book Products.
Import and Assign Price Books
Price Books are a feature in Datagate used for pricing imported monthly charges. Rate Cards are used for pricing usage (typically phone calls).
Price Books are found in the Rating menu and can now also be easily imported from a csv file using the Import menu.
Similar to importing customer or product information, you can download and fill a csv template which can be used to make changes in bulk.
This allows you to create new Price Books or update existing Price Books, as well as specify Price Book assignments.
Product Categories for Kits
Similar to Product Templates, you can now specify product categories for Kits as well.
Service Item Alias Column
You can now easily sort Service Items by alias with a new “Aliases” column in the main Service Items page as well as the Service Items menu in each customer.
New Reports
Profitability
You’ll now see a standard Profitability report available in the Reports section of your Datagate portal.
This allows you to quickly view your sales margins on a per customer and per invoice basis, over any given period.
