💡What's New?
Platform Updates
New Agreement-level Features
You can now set certain attributes for your customers at the agreement level for greater billing flexibility.
This includes specifying the Tax Rate (for resellers outside USA & Canada), specifying the Currency displayed (only visual), or adding a Purchase Order Number for display on the invoice if required.
You can also set email options at the agreement level. This lets you send invoices for different agreements on the same customer to different recipients.
Export Tax Breakdown by Products - USA and Canada Only
You can now easily export a tax breakdown by product transactions for invoices generated in Datagate to a CSV file.
To do so, click on the invoice number to open the details, head to the Products tab, and click the “Export taxes” button.
Product Categories for Price Book Products
You can now add Product Categories to products in Price Books.
These categories can also be used to group Price Book product transactions on the invoice.

In the ConnectWise Manage integration settings page, you can specify if the Datagate Product Description or the ConnectWise Product Description should be used when new Additions are created.
Company Territories during Misc Invoice Export
If you export to ConnectWise Misc Invoices, Datagate will now automatically add the Company Territory related to the exported invoice in ConnectWise.

🔧 Datagate Tips and Tricks?
How To Get A List Of Invoices
There are multiple methods of getting a list of invoices and values. This data can be used for Excel analysis such as adding up totals or for reconciliation purposes.
Method 1. Invoicing / Action Invoices
Head to the Action Invoices page, click the calendar icon then select the “from” and “to” dates to filter invoices by Invoice Date, then press <Search>.
You will now have a list of filtered invoices. Right click on the white space in the table, choose export, and then select the format for the export (.csv, .xlsx, .xml).
Method 2. Export Invoices
Head to the Action Invoices page, filter invoices to your preference, then check the “select all” box.
Then, head to the Actions dropdown and choose Export Invoices. Ensure the number of invoices in the export message is correct before pressing “Yes”.
Finally, either choose CSV file for a single line summary per invoice or CSV Multiline for invoice details.
Method 3. Profitability Report
Run the Profitability report under the Reports tab.
This report can also be exported by right-clicking on the table.
Method 4. Custom Report
Run a custom report by heading to the Files tab and clicking “Generate”. This option only applies if you have requested a custom report.
Please note that there is an extra charge for custom reports.
