💡What's New?
💻 Platform Updates
Invoice Product Order
You can now adjust the order of Product/Product Kit line items that appear on Datagate-generated invoices.
When assigning a new Product/Product Kit to a customer, you can indicate the position on the invoice.
You can also set this order when importing Product Template Assignments through the Datagate CSV Import wizard.
To change the order, navigate to Customers / Products
Select the line you want to move by checking the box on the left
Press the "Order Products" icon
Use the arrow keys to move up or down. When the Product or Product Kit is in its correct place, press the Save icon.
FCC 477 Report [US Resellers]
Datagate customers in the US will now see a new report in the Reports menu titled “FCC 477”.
This report provides information to assist with the completion of the FCC 477 reports. There is a similar report available in Files menu
NEW Rating Methods
Flag Fall - this dollar amount will be added to this call. Used where there is a Connection Fee in addition to a price per minute/unit
Free Units - this number of units are free, after this the "Rating" above applies. Note: for phone calls, units are usually seconds (not minutes).
Xero Integration
If an invoice has a negative total amount, it will be exported to Xero as a Credit note.
This does not affect the current functionality for exporting Credit notes from Datagate.
🌀 Kaseya Integration
Email Address Sync
When synchronizing customers with Kaseya, Datagate will now automatically import the email address from the Kaseya Account Contact(s) that are configured to receive invoices.
Quoter Integration
Importing Site-specific Quotes
When importing quotes into Datagate, you can now choose the customer's site. All products and kits will be assigned to this site. This option is available if you have an existing customer and customer site.
🖥Quickbooks Desktop
Only Sync Existing Customers
If you are already using Datagate and would like to integrate with QuickBooks Desktop, you can now avoid synchronizing all your customers.
This is useful if you already have customers configured in Datagate and would like to synchronize them with QuickBooks Desktop without pulling the rest of your customers into Datagate or 'losing' (making Inactive) any customers that aren't in Quickbooks.
Options:
Do not sync - Datagate customers are not updated
Sync all customers - All Quickbooks customers are imported into Datagate. Any customers in Datagate that are not in Quickbooks are set to Inactive. Any matching customers have the Datagate information (e.g. address) updated from QB.
Sync only existing Customers - Any customers in Datagate that do not have a match in Quickbooks remain Active in Datagate. Matched customers have Datagate information updated from QB. Customers that are in QB but not in Datagate are not imported to Datagate
