💻 Platform Updates

Credit Note Layouts

Multiple credit note layouts can now be loaded in the Datagate portal. You can assign a specific layout to a specific Customer. This new feature can be useful if you are trading under different company names and each has a different layout or logo.

Viewing Exported Invoices

More columns can be made visible on the Customer/ Sites screen now. This allows "External Reference", "Rate Card", and "Hide Taxes from invoice" for all a Customer's sites to be visible from one screen.

Service Item Type Column

Import - Service Items Column "Service Item Type" has been renamed to "Service" to better align with other Datagate screens.

🦉 ConnectWise Integration

Enable Invoices Sync

If you import invoices from ConnectWise into Datagate, we have some enhancements for you:

1. You can now select multiple invoice types to import.

2. More information from the Service ticket is imported to Datagate. This will be useful if you want to include service ticket descriptions to display on the Datagate invoice.

3. You can now enter a start date for the invoice import. Only Invoices dated after this date will be imported.

⚙️ Autotask Integration

Invoice Export for Canadian Resellers [Canada Only]

There is a new option to exclude the taxes from the export from Datagate. This will allow Autotask to calculate Canadian taxes.

There are also more options on the dates used on charges when exporting to Autotask.

😇 HaloPSA Integration

Exporting Invoices

1. You now have the option to include the Service dates in the long description when exporting to HaloPSA invoices
2. You now have the option to export the Kit Parent or Kit Children to HaloPSA. This allows more or less granularity on reporting in HaloPSA, and subsequent exporting to an accounting system from HaloPSA.

📗 QuickBooks Desktop Integration

Detailed CSI Report

The detailed CSI tax report in the Datagate portal now includes Country, State, and City columns.

🌐 QuickBooks Online Integration

Viewing Exported Invoices

We have made some improvements to the "QBO Exported" checkbox to better align with invoices successfully exported to Quickbooks Online.
