💻 Platform Updates
Multiple Invoice Layouts
If you have multiple invoice layouts, you can display them on the Customers screen.
Internationalization/Internationalisation
Spelling of Organization/Organisation is appropriate for US or GB.
Customer Products Search
The search now includes the Product Code.
Customer Sites
You can see the "External Reference" from the Customer Sites tab.
Invoicing/Action Invoices
We restrict the options available based on the invoices selected.
For example, if you have selected invoices that include some without an email address, the "Email Selected" menu option is disabled.
Importing Customers
If you use the Import menu to import a customer that was already in Datagate but Inactive, that Customer will become Active.
End Customer Portal - Change Of Wording
If the Customer User adds payment details to the End Customer Portal, they can check the box "Auto-Pay" which allows you to take the payment on the due date.
This used to be called "Allow Invoice Charging".
Rate Card Export
Now exports with the correct number of decimal places.
Alias
If a customer is Deleted, the Alias now becomes available for use by another customer.
Customer Agreement
Customer Agreement names can now be updated if required.
🚨 Note: please do not do this if your Customer Agreements come from another system.
🦉 ConnectWise Integration
ConnectWise Agreement Export
There is now an option to Update existing additions rather than create new ones.
🚨 Note: Please choose your usual option (Keep Existing Items) unless you have tested and/or discussed with Datagate support
📗QuickBooks Desktop Integration
Export To Quickbooks Desktop
The drop-down list of Products now excludes Categories.
Previously the drop-down list of products allowed you to choose a Quickbooks Item of type "Category" but Quickbooks returned an error when the invoice was created.
🔵 Xero Integration
Export To Xero
The export wizard remembers the "Reference" from the previous export, but allows you to change it before exporting
🇺🇸 CCH SureTax Integration
Suretax Exemptions - Display Of Customer Code
When you set up a customer exemption in the Suretax portal, please use the Customer Code from the Customer details screen, or from the main Customers screen.
🚨 Note: Existing customer exemptions will continue to work as the customer code has not changed.
