Release Notes is our update that highlights recent product improvements we’ve made so you can easily stay up to date on what’s new.

Payments
💵 Stripe Bank Transfer Payments
We have made an enhancement to allow Bank Transfers using Stripe.
This is applicable for a number of countries, including the USA and countries in Europe.

🇦🇺 BPoint (Australia)
We have developed an interface to BPoint, a payment solution in Australia.
Documentation is coming soon.
In the meantime, please contact support if you are interested in using it.
🔔 Overdue Notifications
If you are using the Automation to send notifications about overdue invoices, we have made an enhancement to ensure any specific Overdue notice will only be sent once.
This prevents Customers from getting multiple overdue notifications, unless specifically configured.
Interfaces
✏️ Quoter
Product Template Extra Fields are now assigned to Products when the Customer Products are imported from Quoter.
⚙️Autotask PSA
If you are importing Contract Charges from Autotask (Products), they will now import to Datagate as Product Transactions.
This means they are only assigned to a single period invoice in Datagate.
🦉 ConnectWise
If you would like the Usage to export to ConnectWise in Minutes, please do the following:
Navigate to Settings/Integrations/ConnectWise Manage
Under the option: "Usage Quantity Calculation for Average Payment", choose Minutes.
The next time you export invoices to ConnectWise, in the wizard Step 9 - Usage Quantity Calculation, choose "Average".
The number of Usage minutes will be exported to the Quantity field in ConnectWise.
🇦🇺 IPND (Australia)
We have added the option of being able to select one or more Services to be sent to IPND.
Navigate to Settings/Integrations/IPND, and choose the services for "Send Only Selected Services to IPND".
🏛️ CCH SureTax
We are tightening validation on data sent to SureTax.
If you receive an error, please review the error message displayed on the screen and take appropriate action.
For example, all Products should have a Tax Code and Customers and Sites should have a zip code (if applicable).

End Customer Portal
Extra Fields
You can now allow Product Transaction Extra Fields to be displayed on the End Customer Portal.
To allow the extra fields to be displayed, navigate to Customer Portal, and select the Transaction Edit button as shown below 👇
General
Commission Reporting
There is a new report that shows the details of the commissions payable.
To run the report, navigate to Reports/Standard/Commissions and click Generate.
For this detailed report, choose a report type of "Detailed".
Fill in other parameters as required.
Note: This report is based on Billing (Usage) periods, so choose the date range as appropriate.
Import Service Items
Extra Fields 1->5 can now be imported in the Service Item import.
Be sure to download a new Template before your next Service Item import.
Dashboard
As part of a continuing project to improve visibility of not-yet-processed and errored Usage and eBill data, we have consolidated some widgets in the Dashboard.
The new Widget shows "Unrated Usages and Products". This widget is updated every 15 minutes.
- "Unrated Usages”: Count of Usage records (commonly CDRs) in the system that haven't been fully rated yet. These will not show in the Exceptions report as they are still being processed.
- “Errored Usages”: Count of Usage records in the system with an error. These will show in the Exceptions report
- “Unrated Products (E-Bills)”: Count of eBill records in the system that haven't been fully rated yet. These will not show in the Exceptions report
- “Errored Products (E-Bills)”: Count of eBill records in the system, but there is an error. These will show in the Exceptions report
Columns
Default Columns On Invoices Tab
We have made some changes to the default columns that display on the Invoices tab for a customer.
By default, Notes, Delivery Method, Email, and Print are not shown.
They can be enabled if they're columns you'd like to see.

We have added "Invoice Email Template" as a column that can be displayed on the main screen. Click here for more information about viewing and hiding columns.
💡 Tips & Tricks
Append Invoices with Additional Documents (PDF)
You can now add an additional PDF file to be attached to the end of outgoing invoices.
This option can be used to attach marketing material or communications to your customers at the end of the invoice PDF.
To use this functionality, head to Settings > Invoice Layouts > Add/Edit Invoice Layout.
From here, you can create Invoice Layouts by selecting an invoice template and adding an optional PDF file.
This can be configured as a global option, or you can then select Invoice Layouts at the Customer or Agreement Level.
