Surcharges

Apply Surcharge to Only a Subset of Customers

When Surcharges are created from the settings page, they are automatically applied to all current and any new customers.

You’ll now notice a new tab under each customer called “Surcharges”. This will allow you to select/deselect if a Surcharge set in the settings should apply to the customer or not.

ConnectWise Integration

Update ConnectWise Agreement Invoice Number with Datagate Invoice Number

The ConnectWise integration keeps getting better!

If you use ConnectWise Agreements export, it’ll now be easier to keep track of invoices in both systems.

After exporting a Datagate generated invoice to an Agreement and generating an Agreement invoice in ConnectWise, you can sync the Datagate invoice number to ConnectWise as well.

Retrieve Opening Balances from ConnectWise 

You can now also sync Opening Balances for each customer.

Agreements

Default Billing Start Date

Now, you can configure a “Default Billing Start Date” in the Settings such as “1st of the current month”, “2nd of the current month” and so on.

Any new agreements created or imported will follow this setting for the month they are created in.

Payments Functionality

Partial Payments

We are continuously working on upgrading Datagate’s payment functionality. In this release, more enhancements to partial payments collection were made.

Let your customers make partial payments, charge what’s left on a partially paid invoice, and sync partial payments from Xero!
