[Critical!] Bundling by Minutes and Quantity (aka Minute Buckets)
Using bundles for call plans? This one’s for you.
Now, you can use the product quantity field to define how many times a bundle should be charged to a customer. This gives you control to easily increase or decrease the number of plans a customer has.
For example, let’s say you have a customer that buys 6 SIP Plans with 1500 minutes each. You can now assign a single product to them that contains the bundle for 1500 minutes and simply modify the quantity field to reflect how many bundles should be provided (in this case, 6).
Please note: When adding new bundles you can now increase the number of plans by simply increasing the quantity of the overall product. Existing bundles have been modified by Datagate so no changes are required to any existing bundle assignments or quantities.
Agreements
We’ve also made Agreements more flexible in Datagate based on your feedback.
Now, you can set an End Date even for “locked” Agreements. This will finish the Agreement and prevent it from coming up on the invoicing screen if the End Date is before the new period start date.
You can now also make a locked Agreement “default” even if you forgot to do it while creating it. Any products set to the default Agreement will sync into this new Agreement going forward.
Exporting Invoices
Now, the invoice export dropdown will only show an option to export to integrations that have already been configured.
Currency Symbols
We’ve added support for multiple currency symbols which allows you to modify the currency sign on the end customer portal. Simply head to the Customer Portal settings page and select which currency sign to display.
Emails
You can now use a separate email template for sending out invoices and credits.
Importing Customers
We’ve made it even easier to bulk import new customers into Datagate.
Now, you can set the “Agreement Start Date” and “Agreement Billing Start Date” right from the CSV file when importing customers in bulk.
ConnectWise Integration
VAT Number Sync
Now, when syncing customers from ConnectWise, the VAT number is also pulled through under the Customer Details section.
