How To Set Up The Quickbooks Online Integration
Setting up the Quickbooks Online integration as per the screenshot below:
Quickbooks Online Customer Sync
From Customers > Click on Sync Icon to sync customers
🚨 Note: If Customer Type is available in the QBO version and it had been set up in QBO, Customer types can be selected to filter the data. If not, you can ignore the prompt for selecting the Customer Type.
The sync only asks for a Customer Type if there are some set up in QBO. If there are none, it will import all customers.
- QbID populates through synchronization.
- Customers added into DG with the QbID field populated. You can find this number in QuickBooks URL when a customer is selected in QB online.
🚨 Note: If a customer already exists in DG, first check that Customer Data matches QB so it doesn't get overridden, then add QBID from the QB URL into the Customer Details QB ID field. This will create a link between the DG customer with the QB customer.
