How to setup Suretax Customer Site tax exemptions

This article describes the options for setting up exemptions if you use the Suretax tax software, and how to get some of the data for Suretax. It doesn't describe the use of the Suretax portal.

Customer Exemption

If the Customer is exempt from one, some or all taxes, you would usually set up the exemption in the Suretax portal.

Site Exemption

If one or more Sites of the Customer have an exemption, you can add the exemption code on the Site. Any Product, Product Transaction or Service Item charges assigned to this site will have the exemption applied.

🚨Note: there is no expiry date on this exemption - please manage the exemption expiry yourself.
